welcome
On a personal note…
This is the first time since conceptualizing what I wanted my website to look like in 2022, that I feel it is complete enough to share - although I have had some version of it up for several years.
For those who don’t know me, I’m a 54 year old multi-faceted artist, entrepreneur, Air Force Veteran, foodie, and espresso junkie from Ohio.
I have lived more of a live at 54 than I ever imagined I would at life’s end. That said, due to the past 20 years, I feel like I’m finally at a place where I can begin REALLY living. Up to now, I’ve been learning how to function in this world.
This world doesn’t teach how to live in a constant state of curiosity, awe, wonder, love and freedom. That’s me at my core, has always been, and will always be. It took me until a year or two ago to realize that my whole life has been littered by people who wanted to minimize me - no it’s NOT a conspiracy theory. A couple people even admitted their goal was to change me.
Since Summer of ‘25, my goal has been to finally connect with and unleash the REAL ME - ALL that I am. Sometimes we don’t realize what it will take to actually bring a dream or goal to fruition - as they say ‘Be careful what you wish for’. I sure didn’t. But now, on the other side of the journey, I feel I’m - at my core - the best version of myself I’ve ever been. Now, to begin living in this new Me, unapologetically.
I’ve always felt I had to minimize or hide parts of myself with people - depending on what versions of myself I knew they could or couldn’t handle…which ones they were or were not interested in. But having learned as much as I have now about AUTHENTICITY, the only way I can live now, is fully as myself. One of the most challenging things about including all of my interests and abilities on my website - instead of feeling like I should just focus on one or two things. But in doing so, I’m finally being honest with myself…finally being authentic PUBLICLY, and doing so is the only way I can now align with opportunities to do all of the things I still want to.
So…take it or leave it, this is me. No more hiding. No more caring what people think. If you have struggled to live that way as well, I wrote a few books that may help you.
There is so much more to share from my journey, and I will talk about some of the things I’ve learned along the way in future posts, but for now, I hope I have piqued your curiosity and you will come back for future blog posts.
Until next time, be well.
B
